Oxoid has launched the DuPont Qualicon RiboPrinter microbial characterisation system for the European and Australian food processing markets - supplying genetic fingerprinting of any bacterium in less than 8 hours.

New flavours for yoghurt drink

Arla Foods has launched two new flavours for its Yoggi Yalla yoghurt drink, the leader of the fast-growing Swedish market. But the company also faces a lawsuit over its delay in marketing products containing the sweetener tagatose.
