Mayfield Dairy Farms, the US dairy and ice cream producer, is about
to introduce its new Clik-Top re-sealable carton for its
rectangular ice cream package.
Anglo-Dutch consumer products group Unilever said on Thursday it
plans to open 75 Ben & Jerry's stores in Spain as a first step
to expand the ice cream maker's presence in Europe.
Ice-modifying proteins extracted from winter wheat may help ice
cream stay smooth and creamy during long periods in the freezer,
suggests new research by food scientist Douglas Goff of the
University of Guelph, in Canada.
