Pro Mach acquires P.E. Labellers with plans to open more facilities
The move means Pro Mach will add decorative labeling, including Adhesleeve that uses pre-glued films for more efficiency.

P.E. Labellers manufactures rotary and linear labeling systems for food, beverage, wine and spirits, among other sectors. It is based in Porto Mantovano, Northern Italy with 14 subsidiaries worldwide.
Barry Heiser, president, Global Filler and Integrated Solutions, Pro Mach, said many of its customers want to integrate filling, capping and labelling machines, and P.E. Labellers will better serve these customers.
“With the addition of P.E. Labellers, Pro Mach now has a very complete labeling solutions portfolio,” added Mark Anderson, CEO and president of Pro Mach.
“Along with our other brands NJM Packaging, Weiler Labeling Systems, Axon, EPI Labelers and ID Technology, we now have a full range of primary, secondary, and tertiary labeling solutions for virtually any application, including high-speed production lines, custom packaging, e-commerce and complex pharmaceutical requirements.”
P.E. Labellers' co-founder, Bruno Negri, and vice chairman, Nicola Schinelli, will continue to lead the P.E. Labellers team.
Negri said the two companies share a common vision for the long term future and will be adding new facilities to expand business.
Since 2010, Pro Mach machinery sales in the US have doubled, while they've tripled beyond the country's borders. The company, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, also has operations in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
“Many of our global customers want a single source provider of machinery and integrated systems that will help them simplify line development, achieve optimum performance, reduce risks and better manage costs,” added Heiser.
Last year, Pro Mach acquired California-based Pacific Packaging Machinery, a manufacturer of rotary and inline filling and capping. The deal expanded Pro Mach’s filling and capping capabilities for customers who produce light to viscous products or who want a lower capacity inline technology.
