Novio Packaging Group joins forces with Scandinavian Packaging

Novio Packaging Group has merged with Scandinavian Packaging to become Novio Scandinavia, operational from January 1, 2019 under the name.

Under the management of Hanne Zinck and Bjarke Arlø, Scandinavian Packaging will continue to develop its business from Borup Denmark. There are no plans for staff changes.

The recently established Novio Packaging Group, consisting of packaging distribution companies Oosterbeek Packaging, Alpha Packaging International Maer Flexibles, Maer Hong Kong. and FehnPolycap, will use this merger to expand its distribution channels into Scandinavia. 

The move will also broaden the services and products on offer in the field of food and pharmaceutical packaging. 

Now that our territorial range also includes Scandinavia, we will be able to achieve even better European coverage​,” said Marck Jansen, co-director, Novio Packaging Group. 

This move will also increase the international efficiency and buying power of both parties​. 

The values of Scandinavian Packaging: quality, reliability and understanding, will without further doubt strengthen our brand​.”  

According to Bjarke Arlø, CEO, Scandinavian Packaging, thanks to support from Novio Packaging Group it will be able to continue the growth and development of its business. 

Product development

The various business components are also joining forces in respect of product development, quality assurance, sustainability, food safety and GMP compliance. 

Scandinavian Packaging, member of Novio Packaging, has been manufacturing and distributing packaging materials for the food and personal care industry in Scandinavia since 1946. 

The company operates from Borup, Denmark, has tripled its sales since 2009 when current management stepped in and currently employs 42 people.
