Lothamilk expands consumer reach with SIG products

Originating in the Vietnamese tourist hub of Long Thanh, dairy producer Lothamilk Joint Stock Company is set for growth through longer shelf life of its products, as it expands its portfolio of milk with aseptic technology and carton packs from SIG.

Caloris and NIZO to host US course on spray drying in June

A course on spray drying operation will be offered for professionals this summer in Minneapolis by Caloris Engineering, Process Systems Enterprise Americas (PSE) and NIZO, the Food and Dairy Research Institute in the Netherlands.

US milk production drops in the midwest

In the first quarter of 2019, US dairy production and exports were down compared to Q1 2018, particularly in the midwestern states. Globally, dairy is still dominated by a few key players and facing challenges from African Swine Fever.

Kroger completes Turkey Hill sale

After announcing that it may drop its flagship dairy brand last August, Kroger sold Turkey Hill to Peak Rock Capital earlier this year. The agreement was completed this week for $215m.
