Ledo has partered with RPC Superfos to launch its Croatian ice cream dessert, Kremsnita, in an EasySnacking pack.

The 210ml dessert combines custard with whipped cream and pieces of waffle to create an ice cream.

Integral spoon

Lovro Vučković, product manager, Ledo, said it chose the packaging format for its round edges and integral spoon.

Kremsnita is a typical Croatian dessert traditionally served in square pieces, so the square shape of the EasySnacking container is a perfect match for our new product,” he said.

Vučković added the company did not run a big promotion for the product just one TV commercial to introduce the ice cream range and it had received a lot of attention on social media.

Social media

Ledo Kremsnita is one of 10 types of ice cream, and we have received positive feedback. We have seen many shared pictures and positive comments about our dessert on social media and our customers love the spoon,” he said.

RPC Superfos has been a packaging supplier to Ledo for several years.

Ledo is one of the largest producers of industrial ice cream in Croatia covering Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Kosovo.
