Dairy Farmers Milk Co-operative pays penalty

The Dairy Farmers Milk Co-operative Limited (DFMC) has paid a penalty of A$11,100 (US$8,070) after the ACCC issued it with one infringement notice for allegedly failing to comply with its publishing obligations under the Dairy Code.

Australia’s new mandatory dairy code welcomed

Australian dairy farmers now have a rule book to help them negotiate a fair price for their product with a mandatory Dairy Code of Conduct taking effect from January 1, 2020.
