ACCC looking into dairy code compliance

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is monitoring the introduction of the new mandatory dairy code of conduct, including by checking processors’ compliance with the code, and said it is ready to take enforcement action where appropriate.

Beston sells dairy farms for $40.4m

Australia’s Beston Global Food Company Limited has signed an agreement with Aurora Dairies for the sale of its dairy farms in Mount Gambier to Aurora for A$40.4m (US$27.5m) in cash.
