Following its acquisition by Canadian dairy company Saputo Inc., UK company Dairy Crest has changed its name to Saputo Dairy UK.

The investment will enable Dairy Crest to process an additional 200m liters of milk every year.

Dairy Crest announces £85m cheese business investment

UK dairy company Dairy Crest has announced it is investing £85m ($113.6m) in growing the capacity of its cheese business, £75m ($100m) of which will be invested at its Davidstow, Cornwall, plant.

Dairy Crest said sales of GOS and demineralized whey would accelerate in the second half of the year.

Revenues up 16% for Dairy Crest

UK’s Dairy Crest Group plc has published its interim results for the six months ended September 30, 2017, which shows revenue up 16% compared to the same period in 2016.

Frylight is one of the products showing growth for Dairy Crest.
