Morbier: The cheese’s ash line to be PDO-protected

The ruling means that the cheese’s iconic appearance cannot be reproduced by cheesemakers based outside the protected designation of origin (PDO) area – even if their product isn't called ‘Morbier’.

The three-year plan expects a significant growth in turnover in the 2021-2024 period, with a corresponding improvement in margins.

Italian cheese companies Agriform and Parmareggio merge
