Danone has upped its sales revenue guidance for 2011, encouraged by a positive pricing performance in the last quarter. But the French dairy giant warned of a 6-9 per cent hike in raw material costs.
Unilever posted a 5 per cent improvement in sales during the full
fiscal year, on the back of its increased focus on products with
vitality benefits, emerging markets and personal care.
Nestle yesterday reported organic sales rose by seven per cent in
the first nine months of this year, with the company successfully
managing to offset rising raw material costs by hiking prices.
