New health claim for Lactium in South Korea

Ingredia’s product Lactium has been recognized by the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety as a functional ingredient for health functional foods.

Following the 105th IDF Dairy Summit in Rotterdam (above) in 2016, the summit in 2017 is being held in Northern Ireland, before moving to South Korea in 2018.

Fonterra looks to cheese to grow Korean market

As New Zealand marks the one-year anniversary of its Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with South Korea, Fonterra Co-operative Group says it is looking to grow sales of its dairy products there, particularly cheese.

The chairman of Murray Goulburn Co-operative Co. Limited (MG), Philip Tracy, has announced that the board of directors has appointed Ari Mervis as the new CEO and MD of MG and MG Responsible Entity Limited.
