Nestle cleans up labels
Nestle’s Dreyer’s Ice Cream is cleaning up the ingredient decks of more than 100 products across its iconic Dreyer’s, Haagen-Dazs, Outshine, Skinny Cow, Nestle Ice Cream and Drumstick lines. The changes include removing artificial colors and flavors, high-fructose corn syrup and GMO ingredients. It also will use rBST-free milk, cut sugar by about 11% on selected products and add more real fruit or fruit juice to other products, the company announced in April.
