Sensient has also seen a growing number of customers seeking flavour that can be listed as an extract - rather than a natural flavour - to add "a very premium effect" to the final product.
“Some of [our floral flavours] can be listed as extracts and we are working to expand our portfolio so we can cover the range of each type of natural depending on the end application and the price point of each customer’s requirements,” said Holford.
