Arla looks to sustainable packaging across Europe

Kroger completes Turkey Hill sale

After announcing that it may drop its flagship dairy brand last August, Kroger sold Turkey Hill to Peak Rock Capital earlier this year. The agreement was completed this week for $215m.

General Mills signs 15-year deal for wind energy

Food giant General Mills is making a commitment to sustainability and clean power by covering the electricity at its US facilities with renewable wind energy. It has signed a 15-year power purchase agreement with Roaring Fork Wind, LLC.

Grant finalists will attend a four-day program in Boulder, Colorado for training on sustainable food systems.

Danone opens applications for new grant program

Danone Institute North America (DINA) will invest in sustainable food system projects through a grant program in the US and Canada. The ‘One Planet. One Health Initiative’ is now accepting proposals.
