A new protein ingredient from Arla Foods Ingredients is designed for sparkling protein water, with the potential for drinks to contain up to 6% protein.

AFISA was a joint venture in Argentina established in 2001 between Arla Foods Ingredients and SanCor.

According to a report by Zenith Global, 2017 was another record year for food and drink industry transactions, with 727 registered in the bevblog.net mergers and acquisitions database, an average of almost 14 each week.

Argentine dairy company SanCor Cooperativas Unidas Limitada has agreed to sell its share in its joint venture with Arla Foods, known as Arla Foods Ingredients SA (AFISA).

According to Arla Food Ingredients, good nutrition, including dairy products, can 'turn back the clock.'
