It has been a busy month with announcements at many companies and organizations in September, with perhaps the biggest being a change at the top of Dutch dairy giant FrieslandCampina.
Packaging company Sonoco has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the stock of Clear Lam Packaging, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of flexible and forming plastic packaging films, for approximately $170m in cash.
Dairy firm Glanbia’s group md John Moloney has left his role, although he will continue on the board of the group’s 40% associate company Glanbia Ingredients Ireland.
