The Single Rose, Ballylisk of Armagh Farmhouse Brie from Ballylisk Dairies
This single-herd white mould single cream Brie is made by Northern Ireland’s Ballylisk of Armagh, a family-run farm that farms hundreds of cattle as well as crops. In 2019, the farm won two gold stars for its first ever cheese - the Triple Rose single herd cream cheese - and also claimed Silver, Best in County and Best in Farmers Market at the 2018 Blasna hEireann Irish Food Awards.
This year, the farm has added the Single Rose Brie and the Triple Rose Smoked cream cheese to its cheese product offering, with the former scoring three stars and the latter – one.
