Exquis Mochi’s premium frozen desserts
A popular stand in Hall 5A was French-based mochi maker Exquis Mochi. The family company started off as a restaurant years ago, when it noticed how popular its mochi dessert was among foodies. It then spun-out to become a fully-fledged mochi manufacturer, making its own dough, ice cream and compostable packaging at its factory near Paris.
The Exquis Mochi desserts are sold in 180g tubs at French retailers including Monoprix, Carrefour and Cora, as well as in the food service industry. The product is marketed as a premium frozen dessert, with six mochis found in each tub. The company has three dairy varieties containing pasteurised milk ice cream – vanilla, coconut and pistachio – alongside its sorbet-filled raspberry and mango packs.
