Arla will begin selling its branded dairy products in Ghana next month after launching a subsidiary in the West African country.

Arla Foods is expanding into another market in its Sub-Saharan Africa business region by creating a sales and packaging facility in Ghana.

A Nigerian delegation visited Arla Foods in Denmark recently to see first hand how the cooperative works. Arla is working with the West African country on developing its dairy industry.

Following a meeting between Arla Foods and delegates from Nigeria, the Danish dairy cooperative is hoping it can help develop the dairy industry in that country, and find new markets for its products.
