Salmonella in black sesame seeds
Lithuania: Salmonella has been detected (present /25g) in black sesame seeds from India.
Valstybinė maisto ir veterinarijos tarnyba (VMVT) said the importer was UAB „Alvas ir Ko“ of the seeds from „Grover Sons“ in India with number 180220-2 and date 1-3-2019.
Microbial contamination was detected by examining samples at the National Laboratory for Food and Veterinary Risk Assessment Institute [Nacionalinio maisto ir veterinarijos rizikos vertinimo instituto laboratorijoje].
