A La Mode includes those with allergies in the summer fun
Aware that as many as 15 million people have food allergies, the creators behind A La Mode didn’t want those with allergies to nuts, eggs or sesame seeds to miss out on the summertime classic cool-down that ice cream offers. So they are rolling out a line of small-batch ice cream that leaves out the nuts, eggs or sesame seeds but promises to leave in the creamy taste that the frozen dessert is known for. The national roll-out includes flavors for kids (blue cotton candy) and adults (coffee with chocolate chips) alike.
